I take it that the North Hants meet is at the Phoenix this week (bring your oxygen masks - cough angry smiley)

Would Messers Webber and Chiswick like a lift in the Vulva as I'm still getting over my seasickness after a slalom through Elvetham heath in the Uber Barge.

came to work in a C class taxi this morning, nearly lost my fillings and the radio would only play 5 Live sad smiley

Yep Smokey it wil be.
But most of you guys wanted to return there.
Thursday we can talk to the Landlord as a group so he can be advised of our needs. He wanted to do this.

We could always pop over to New Inn for a recci if the smoke get too thick. This was how we started the Shoulder meetings up.

Thanks for the offer Roy but I won't be going this week. To be honest, I have really had enough of the smoke ridden atmosphere inside the Phoenix, much as I love going to the meetings and having a good laugh.

When the weather warms up and we can spend the evening outside or (unlikely I think) the landlord introduces a no smoking policy like the SOM, I will go back there but not before I'm afraid. sad smiley

I was one of those who voted to try the Phoenix again but the last time we were there, the density of smoke was quite dreadful and left me wheezing most of the night as a result. It really does irritate me immensely to be excluded from a pastime I enjoy because of those who like to coat the insides of their own lungs in tar.

Steve, do you need your torque wrench back sooner than the next SOM meeting? If so I can drop it round to you. Thanks for the loan, drive shafts now tightened.thumbs up

It's not been one of my more enjoyable days......................you can probably tell.smiley bottom

It may surprise you to know Brent that I was thinking of going tonight, (after working with Metal Micky for a day I need a drink). However without the company of messrs Webber, Sullivan, Crook, Whitley, Motts and your good self etc., the evening may be wasted. Perhaps we should go to the Poacher?

You're right Guy it would surprise me but after a day with Metal Micky I would have thought lying down in a darkened room for a few hours more appropriate or seeking immediate therapy.sticking out tongue smiley
