UPDATE:-
As I only have 16 confirmed inc those on the waiting list, I'll open it to all L7C members.
Post here / drop me an email. Details are below.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Time to put this on Blatchat (previously only notified via the club meetings).

The date is finalised as the 2nd of June. Meeting at Xtrac at 18.30.

Xtrac will give us a tour of their extensive Motorsport facility. Products include Gearboxes, Diffs, Driveshafts, Joints and boots, Starter motor systems, Gear levers and hydraulic / pnuematic gearchange systems. These products are made for teams for F1 BTCC, Indianapolis etc etc.

As well as the tour there will be 'a chalk and talk' about how some of these thing work and the enviroment they operate in.
There might even be a goodie bag for us each - I'm working on that.

See here
for more details.

£5 donation to NTL. Bring a cheque payable to Leukaemia Research Fund on the night and I'll forward them on as a batch.

Please post here to notify me of your definite attendance, 1st come first serve basis. If there are not 20 takers from our area then I will open it to all L7C members.

Those not on Blatchat who have already confirmed attendance will be included of course.

There's a map on Xtrac's Website. For those coming from Reading direction it's the A4 Westwards and left at the Panasonic roundabout, 200 yds down on the left.

They have a big car park and might let have some fun there later when it's empty...

If you had me down to go, then you can give my space to somebody else, Steve sad smiley. We'll be coming back from a few days away that day, and it's unlikely that I'll be back and settled in time to be there. Oh well...
